During the period Jan-Jun’16 residential properties in Cornville and Cottonwood sold for a median price 10.5% and 8.7% above year ago, respectively. Camp Verde and Clarkdale followed with 8.2% and 6.0% price growth vs. year ago. Sedona trailed most of the Verde Valley markets with price growth of only 4.2% vs. year ago. Camp Verde seems to be a great investment opportunity as new economic activities are taking place in the area including the new medical center and a progressive local government. I have been in the city offices this past year for various purposes (because I have a property in Camp Verde) and have come out with a very positive impression.
