During the period Jan-Sep’18 residential properties in the Verde Valley continued to climb across the board with a median sold price +8.2% above year-ago. Camp Verde (+15.7%) and Sedona/Cottonwood (+11.0%) were the strongest markets in price growth vs. YA. Sedona had one of the highest growth in units sold at +13.1% vs. YA and a +11% growth in median price vs. YA. The low inventory situation this year has been a driver for the prices increases with -23% fewer homes for sale, than during the same period in the previous year.
(1) Median Price means that 50% of the sold homes were above this number and 50% below it.
